Most of the time we travel alone or at the max 2 people on the front seats, but  the air conditioner cools the whole car though there was no need to do so. If we car companies can build transparent front seats and back seats partitions then we can same considerable amount energy.

If one single person is there then block the air going to back seats and hence ac would be more efficient
