Well everyone has aware about the recent slow down in the market but does anyone just thought why your company is firing people despite they are doing good.....revenue wise.

I just thought over it and after proper analysis i came to the conclusion that your job security in the company is not just dependent on your or your companies performance but its dependent on the overall performance of the sector.

Let me explain you:

Suppose you joined the company 6 years ago as a fresher.

Lets take 100 of you joined together. At that time you work under a manager and there are 8-10 people like you working under him.

Now lets understand the present senario:

Now all of you are at managerial positions and so now to utilize your full potential comapany require 8-10 people working under you, but that hardly happens for any comapny as this kind of exponential growth is not possible for any company.

Previously as the market was good and there are good offer floating lot of people from you group just grab them and leave the company by themself, so in the end only 50% of those who joined with you actually there in the company after 6 years and company requires only those many people. As everyone is aware about the company structure, it in a shape of prymaid, only one at top and number gradually increasing as you go down the ladder.

Now if you company is doing good then also it required only 50% of those who joined 6 years ago and if others are not doing well enough then there is no other opening available in the market.Hence there is surplus in the your comapny.

Now you got the point despite you and your company's good performance YOU ARE IN LINE OF FIRE.
