Poha Khichu- microwave cooking PDF Print E-mail

Beaten rice or patla poha- 2 cups
Water - 1 cup
Soda bicarb- a pinch
Roasted cumin seed powder- 1/2 tsp
Chilli powder- 1/2 tsp
sesame oil- 1tsp
Chopped coriander- 1tsp
Salt to taste
Method-
Grind the poha in a blender till it resembles bread crumbs. Keep aside.
In a microwave safe bowl, combine water,soda bicarb,cumin seeds powder and salt and microwave on high for 2 minutes.
Add the oil ,chilli powder,green chilli,and ground poha and mix well using a whisk so that no lumps remain.
Microwave on high for a minute.
Add the coriander and mix well.
Serve hot drizzled with sesame oil and chilli powder.

This is the easiest of the snacks which can be made at home. It has good nutrients as well.

How to make it:

1. First buy a packet of Corn form the market. Boil the quantity you want to eat and put the rest in the refrigerator.

2. After boliing drain out the water and put the corns in a pan. Switch on the gas.

3. Add little butter in it and saute it for few 2-3 minutes on medium flame.

4. Add litte salt, red chillies or if u have any other chat masala (MDH, MTR, Everest, etc)

5. Ready to eat!!!!!Laughing

Put Green chillies and mint in a hard board box (The box one normally get with seeets), and put it in refrigerator. You will find them fresh for a long period of time.
