When you kiss your better half, be assured that you are also saying good bye to your dentist. It is medically accepted that a kiss encourages saliva to wash food from the teeth and lowers the level of the acid that causes decay. It also prevents the build-up of plaque.

Anything that increases salivation will help in bringing down the acid level, which causes damage to one’s teeth. It also prevents cavity.

But, it might act the other way round too! If either of the two persons involved in a kiss suffering from tooth infection it may harm the partner’s dental condition as well by spreading germs.

So before having a passionate kiss be careful and be aware that none you both have any tooth infection.
